MES Tech Ninjas Place at Regional Tech Fair

MES students participated in the Regional Tech Fair at Julia P. Bryant Elementary in Statesboro, GA on Saturday, January 21, 2017.  Ten students from McAllister Elementary traveled to Bulloch County to demonstrate their technology skills and the culmination of many months of hard work & dedication.

Students presented projects in various technology categories and participated in a Tech Literacy Challenge. It was an exciting day for MES students and their families.

Brayden McCormick:  3rd-4th Robotics - 1st Place

Colton Taylor:  3rd-4th 3D Modeling - 1st Place

Britton Yount:  3rd-4th 3D  Modeling - 3rd Place

Tyler Shaw:  3rd-4th 3D Modeling - 3rd Place

Kaitlin Howard:  3rd-4th Animation - 1st Place

Wyatt Hursey:  3rd-4th Animation - 1st Place, 3rd-4th Tech Lit Challenge 1st Place

Connor Blakeborough:  5th-6th Video Production - 2nd Place

Ella Blakeborough:  5th-6th Video Production - 2nd Place

Edward Fernandez:  5th-6th 3D Modeling - 2nd Place

RHHS student, Avery Waters also traveled to the Regional Tech Fair along with the MES Tech Ninjas.  Avery competed and placed first in the category of Multimedia Applications for the demonstration of their application in the creation of her documentary about the life of student athletes.  Avery works with our MES News Crew producing and editing the weekly news show.
