Title I Parent & Family Engagement Survey: 2023-2024
The survey will take approximately 6 minutes to complete.
Dear Families,
Our schools conduct outreach to all parents and family members and support successful school and family interactions. Your help in planning these family engagement efforts is appreciated. Please complete the following sections to provide your recommendations for our efforts to help you support your child’s learning and educational success.

Parents, if you could not attend our Title One Meeting last week, we would like to ask for your help. Each year we update our School-Parent Compact with input from teachers, parents, and students. ESOL Parent Night

Staff! Tomorrow kicks off Economics Day and Christmas Parties! BCES currently has the largest student population of all the elementary schools in Bryan County. With over 1,000 students on campus, we have staggered party times to accommodate the crowds. We also ask parents to limit visitors to two guests per student. Each student received 2 visitor stickers on Monday of last week. If visitors forget their sticker, they must provide a photo ID and be on the child’s student information card to be allowed in the building.

Visitors coming for class parties need to come no more than 30 minutes early. They will enter through the lunchroom.
Visitors helping with Economics Day will enter through the front office. They must be on the volunteer list to enter for Economics Day. Please see the map and schedule below.
Grades 2-5-Party Time- 10:30-11:15
Grades Pk-1- Party Time- 11:30-12:15

The 4th and 5th grade spelling bee has been rescheduled for Monday, December 4, 2023 at 9:00 a.m.

BCES artists are learning about warm and cool colors. We painted hot dogs and cool cats today.

Fifth graders are weaving on a loom. Students began by loading their loom with the warp strings and are now weaving over under to create the weft. Check out their progress.

From mixing primary colors to make secondary colors and learning about warm and cool color groups BCES artists are loving their color wheel projects.
