Bryan County Elementary students are always using Encouraging (TRIBE) behavior. This holiday season has been no different. Many students and staff generously donated items for their class Christmas Angel. Our Christmas Angel program helps to support our community in connection with Bryan County Family Connections. A BIG thank you to ALL of our parents who sent items in - We couldn’t do it without y’all!

Bryan County Elementary School receives Title 1, Part A funds. A portion of those funds is set aside to increase parental involvement in the school. Please help us by giving your opinion on how these funds should be spent to encourage parent involvement in school activities. Invitations and surveys went home yesterday. Please plan to attend. If you cannot attend, fill out and return the form that went home yesterday. If you need additional forms, one can be printed from the BCES website.

The BCES Fall Dance is Friday. If you want your child to participate they need to bring $5 by Wednesday. All students will receive a drink and snack during the dance.

Mental Health Workshop
Richmond Hill High School is hosting a Mental Health Workshop on Monday, 11/18 from 5:30-7:30pm in the East Cafeteria at RHHS. This event is designed for parents, guardians, other caregivers, teachers, and community members!

We’ll kick off the event with a resource fair, showcasing several local mental health agencies and their support services. After that, school counselors and agencies will facilitate breakout sessions that educate participants on stress management, mindfulness, self-compassion, and resiliency through interactive activities that they can practice at home. Students in Mr. Ward’s third grade class used popcorn to learn about adjectives. Students described the appearance, smell, and taste of the popcorn. 🍎🌽🍿
