Based on information received at a 6PM briefing, Bryan County Schools has revised its earlier protocol and students will now observe a half-day dismissal on Thursday, March 18th.
RHMS car rider dismissal will begin at 11:55 with bus riders to follow immediately after.

Our “Kiss A Pig” contest culminated today with lots of kisses for sweet Star the Pig. Mr. Lyons, Ms. Ennis, Ms. Pittman, and Dr. Bennett all puckered up for our St. Patrick’s Day festivities. Thank you Jacob for introducing us all to the sweetest little piggy of all! #WeAreRHMS


The RHMS boys soccer team traveled to South Effingham to take on their “rivals”. The Wildcats got off to an aggressive start thanks to Blake Williams who scored 3 goals in the first 9 min of the game! The Mustangs scored 2 at the start of the second half, but the Wildcats played tough and held on to the lead. Cooper Allen added a goal and Daveon Browne added 2 of his own making the final score 6-2 Wildcats! The soccer teams will host Langston Chapel in their home opener this Thursday! The girls soccer team won their season opener 5-0 vs South Effingham. Iris Turner scored 3 goals, Leah Woods had 2 goals, and Kamila Pena with 3 assists. Come support the girls first home game this Thursday at 4:15! #WeAreRHMS

Archery Club participated in the Hahira Middle School tournament on Saturday. 22 archers competed in Bullseye and 3D Shootouts. The top 3 archers in Bullseye were: Gabriella Brodany with a score of 251, Killian Gmachowski with a score of 240 and Garette Chesser with a score of 238. The top 3 archers in 3D were: Killian Gmachowski with a score of 243, Gabriella Brodany with a score of 209 and Garette Chesser with a score of 198. All archers did a great job and look forward to our next tournament on April 17, 2021. #WeAreRHMS

Congratulations to our middle school boys and girls track team. Both teams took home an overall first place win against Langston Chapel, South East Bulloch, and William James Middle School at their meet on Saturday. Billy Cunningham and Jada Brown scored the most individual points for the boys and girls teams. We are so proud of our wildcat track athletes! #WeAreRHMS


Attention all those interested in Competition and Football Sidelines Cheerleading. There will be an Informational Tryout Meeting on April 15th at 5:30pm in the RHMS Cafeteria. Students… Ever wonder what it would be like to see one of your teachers kiss a pig? Now is your chance in the “Kiss Me I am Irish” contes! The teacher that raises the most money in their jar will have to kiss a pig on Thursday, March 18th.
For 6th Grade: Mrs. Beasley, Coach Bennett, Coach Cox, Coach Lyons, or Mrs. Pittman.
For 7th Grade: Mrs. Broome, Mrs. Butkovich, Mr. Moiser, Mrs. Morse, and Mrs. Sharp.
For 8th Grade: Mrs. Ennis, Mrs. Lewis, Mr. Robertson, and Coach Vallbracht.

Ms. Martin's classes recently read "The City of Ember" and then watched the movie. Students worked collaboratively to create a presentations comparing/contrasting the movie vs. the book. #WeAreRHMS
